My name is Henry, and dog training has been my life’s work for over 40 years.

I began training dogs in my early teens, learning hands-on alongside my uncle and aunt at their kennels in Watford. From those early days, my focus has always been on one thing above all else: developing a clear, balanced relationship between dog and owner that delivers real, reliable results in everyday life.

Over the years, I’ve travelled extensively, studying, refining, and pressure-testing dog training methods across different environments and working disciplines to understand what truly works — not just in theory, but in the real world. Trainers from the UK, USA, China, Europe, and South America have trained with me to learn the same proven methods and systems I use daily with real clients.

My own professional training was completed to the highest international standards. I trained in the USA, graduating top of my class with 100% in my final exam and earning the rare K9 badge. In Germany, I trained alongside police dog handlers and worked with leading Schutzhund trainer Bernhard Flinks, further strengthening my foundation in real, practical dog training.

I believe a happy, well-guided dog learns faster. Training should be clear, fair, and enjoyable for both dog and handler. Rewards must be meaningful and motivating to the individual dog, and guidance should always be appropriate, balanced, and timely. No two dogs are the same — and it’s our responsibility to give owners the understanding and tools to achieve lasting results at home, in public, and in real-world situations.
